Carol Coffin

Carol was born and raised in Garden City, New York, and was educated at Green Mountain College, Vermont, and Boston University. Carol has been married to Bernie Coffin since 1968 and they have two children. Carol has been a Massachusetts broker since 1978 and a Florida real estate agent since 1980. Carol began assisting Bernie at the Sconset Real Estate office which he owned after their marriage, and they have had a close relationship with the Village of Sconset for generations. In 2007 the Coffins renovated their Sconset Post Office Building and received the Nantucket Preservation Award. Carol and Bernie owned and managed Sconset Real Estate and Coffin Real Estate together full-time. In 2014 the Coffins chose to sell Sconset Real Estate to Great Point Properties, where Carol moved to work in the town office. Her enjoyment from working with people and spending time with their family, including five grandchildren, are the focus of their time on Nantucket. Carol continues to do referrals in Vero Beach, Florida, where they have also lived part-time since 1979. Outside of work, Carol enjoys some time playing bridge and mah Jongg.
